About Conference
Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am pleased to welcome you to 2nd World Congress on Cancer going to be held during July 23-25, 2018 in Bologna, Italy. The 1st Congress of this new series was held in Madrid (Spain) in May 3-5, 2017, and a 3rd Congress is planned to take place in October 29-31 Oct, 2018 in Washington D.C. (US).
The theme of the Conference Cancer-2018 is “Oncology and Cancer therapeutics in the 21st century”.
Objective of this meeting is to share the foremost updated knowledge on the biology and the novel therapeutic options in Cancer.
The Conference will focus on the mechanisms of cancer development, on the relationship between tumor microenvironment, metabolism and Cancer progression, and on novel pharmacological approaches to treat cancer.
Major topics include:
- Pathogenetic mechanisms (oncogenes, oncosuppressors, DNA repair, cancer stem cells, epigenetics, inflammation, immune responses)
- Metabolism (Nutrition, Fasting, Obesity) and Cancer.
- Novel strategies for Prevention, Diagnosis and Therapy (imaging, Phytochemicals, nanotheranostics)
Major Session tracks on Skin cancer, Brain cancer, Hemato-oncology, Gynecologic cancers, Prostate cancer, Lung cancer, Gastrointestinal cancers.
The event aims to strengthen the international cooperation in the fight against Cancer through the exchange of the knowledge among scientists from different countries and with different expertise.
We will gather academicians and young inspired scientists from all around the world involved in researches at the cutting edge in the study of the biology and clinics of Cancer.
We gladly welcome attendees interested to learn about current and emerging researches in the cancer field, and wishing to build connections each other.
In fact, one other major goal of this Conference is to create an atmosphere of interactions between young and senior scientists in order to stimulate the students and the young researchers to accept the challenge of innovative research in cancer biology and therapy.
Cancer-2018 Organizing Committee anticipates the participation of 400 speakers and delegates from 50 Countries.
